If you are earning a good salary in india especially for IT professionals with both husband and wife working, it's best not to move into australia. The cost of living is very high and house price is above 1 million dollars and with rentals which also is increasing at a very fast pace. Finding jobs in this economy (recession) is very tough, so think carefully and speak with as many friends in australia before quitting your well settled job in India and moving to Australia.
