"Collagen banking" refers to the practice of preserving and enhancing collagen levels in the skin to maintain its elasticity, firmness, and youthful appearance over time. There are times in one's life where collagen drops significantly and I outline them exactly in this video. Collagen and Elastin is a protein that provides structure to the skin, but its production naturally decreases as we age, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging. I outline 6 exact steps for you to do today to start banking collagen, lifting your skin sag and tightening the face and body.

  • Are you seeing less collagen/elastin loss for people taking hrt? I am 54 and have virtually zero wrinkles - however I am definitely noticing some sagging especially on eyelids (I have naturally hooded eyes anyway) and jawline/neck which I am fighting naturally inasmuch as possible..I had a very late start of perimenopause so I have probably been comparatively protected - and I am doing most of the right things skin care and diet wise - just learning to do TCA peels at home. I guess I should start sun screens sigh (I absolutely detest how they make my skin feel!)

Microneedling with high-quality exosomes done three times (spaced 4 weeks apart each) can boost collagen and elastin by more than 300% each. Using a lightweight laser such as Advatx and microneedling pen (same session) will open pores for 3+ hours (so very sensitive to bacteria - need for strong hygiene procedures). That's the time window to add human exosomes (quality, safe types) with hundreds of growth factors - adding exosomes perhaps in half-hour intervals so it can be absorbed a bit better. A RISK of using heat in any form (laser or RF microneeding if that's chosen) is fat loss, so it has to be discussed with the clinician. Using "hydrolyzed" collagen (all 28 peptides) - about 10-15 grams a day for a hundred days straight (with three lightweight non-ablative lasers + microneedling + exosome sessions) is also critical to improve skin quality, so is /safely/ boosting NAD+ levels and using Calcium AKG to keep metabolism at a "boosted" state. Medium-depth chemical peels with subscreen use (heavy use) also support this - about 3 peels done 2 weeks apart with lots of high-quality serum with Vitamin C to improve growth. Chemical peels cannot be done when laster/microneedling is done - it all has to be timed at the right time with lots of "rest time" for the skin to heal.

Off topic, but your LED mask really works. It takes about a month of using it diligently to see results, but it makes the skin fresher and younger looking. It's amazing.

  • @denverbazer8034
Years of sun exposure have left my arms older than they should be . I used a derma roller just 3 times ( three weeks apart size 1.05 needles. )I am shocked how quickly the skin has improved in such a short amount of time.👍 Got the roller on Amazon and used castor oil.

From observing the women in my family & unlike in the graph, I'd say the sharpest decline in collagen is between 50 & 60 when most women are newly post menopausal, their hormones having dropped off a cliff but their bodies haven't yet adjusted to the new normal
  • I love Hearing the details. So grateful for your knowledge and passing it on to us ❤
