love the fact you immediately forgot about the 3 sentence rule 😅

Thank you for the disclaimer at the beginning, food waste is such a huge problem and I feel like a lot of influencer culture feeds directly into making that problem even bigger.

for any store bought croissants, also several other types of similar pastries, if you put them in the oven or an air fryer if you have one at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for around 5-8 minutes it makes them so so much better and flaky instead of that weird grocery store croissant texture

as someone who is moving to the UK soon i consider your content to be extremely important for cultural immersion ☝🏼 thank you for the laughs grace 💛
  • My costco in the north has toffee loaf, caramel loaf, dinner rolls, cream scones, bakewell tarts, granola biscuit squares mini lemon meringue and mini apple crumble tarts. Also has all of what you tried. 🎉

The pep talk for the chocolate cake was fantastic 😂
  • "Too much buttercream!" Ordinarily as a card-carrying American guy I would scoff at your assertion but a memory from young adulthood springs up. I'm nine years older than my younger sister and when she was nine or so she found a can of pre-made buttercream cake frosting in the cupboard after school. Ignoring my warnings, she grabbed a spoon and dug in. Half an hour later she was noisily sick. I have to admit, I grinned. So yes, I am forced to agree that it is possible for there to be too much buttercream. In the right circumstances, of course!

Do we have Costco in Ireland? No. Am I still glued to any Costco content you make? Absolutely! ❤❤❤

An authentic Red Velvet will always be superior to a mere chocolate cake. The best ones are always made by someone's grandma for the church potluck. Traditionally, they are made with crushed pecans in the frosting and sometimes as a decoration for the top. I believe the next time you visit the USA, you should visit someplace like Charleston, NC or Savannah, Georgia or Fairhope, Alabama. Try some really delicious food cooked from the heart. Honestly, from seafood in Maine to BBQ in Texas; you should get out of the big, gross cities when you come over to the states and really experience the food that the smaller places have to offer. I am sure you and your family will be welcome anytime! Fun video. Big thumbs up!
  • Put the chocolate cake in the microwave, untill its just melted and eat it with ice cream 😍

My husband came in while I was watching and I excitedly said, "She's in England and she's trying all the baked goods from her Costco!! 😍". The look of abject horror on his face was proof he knew that in the very near future his Costco-loving wife would be recreating it with baked goods from our Costco here in Michigan.

costco muffins are life!!!!! the poppy seed used to be my favorite, the Bran muffins are also INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! We grew up splitting then in half as kids :)

    1) where is papa Booth for the bakery test ?? He started this series so should continue it !! 2) yes, the pastries from Costco are always a major let down :( 3) bread options differ I believe, up here in Leeds we have many different sourdough like Wholemeal, baguettes, loafs … 4) the fridged bakes seem to be soo much better than the other stuff, their cheesecakes are great and so is the peach and fruit tart they do in summer 5) their seasonal ranges are decent, Christmas is mince pies, Easter is fruit cakes and so on so on 6) PLEASE, PLEASE make this a whole Costco series .. we need like everything haha, ready meals, frozen items and single products would be great :)

I really loved the addition of the text on screen :) and that the red velvet cake redeemed itself. It a red velvet is made "right" (meaning not just a faintly red colored chocolate cake), it can be SO good.
  • This couldn’t have come at a better time! I just got a membership and went for my first nosey around today. Now I know what to try in the future 🤤
  • The fresh cream mini Victoria sponges in the fridge section are top tier. Usually next to the birthday cakes xx
  • @jofereday7213
The cinnamon & raisin bagel toasted in the air fryer with best butter is delicious, the bagel gets nice & chewy 😊
  • @kawkabon
My favourite cake from Costco is the mini Victoria sponge. Comes in a pack of 6. It’s much less sweeter than the big cake and uses fresh cream. So so good! You must try it
