What happens when Politicians worry more about hanging on to power than they do about what is good for their country and it's people. This was horrific and the worse dereliction of duty I have seen in my 71 years.

He'll be 82 at the end of this term. If he were to beat Trump, then 86 at the end of the next one. Look back at him 4 years ago, and imagine the change in the next 4 years. Which will probably be even greater. He needs to swallow his pride.

I don't imagine his biggest donor (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) is all that concerned, since they also donate just as much to and have received assurances from the other party.
