"You were worried the whole debate that Biden was going to say the wrong thing that, that he was going to stumble."

Donors are "getting nervous" as the debate proved Joe Biden is now "too old" to do the job says The Times columnist Alice Thomson.

  • Avoiding the real question here. Is he fit to be the President now?
  • What happens when Politicians worry more about hanging on to power than they do about what is good for their country and it's people. This was horrific and the worse dereliction of duty I have seen in my 71 years.

But he is a perfect puppet for the establishment
  • @TayWoode
And yet there’s people still trying to tell us he’s “sharp” 🤦🏾
  • Tell the donors to keep the cash flowing, Biden still knows how to spend.
  • Every one knows it’s Mrs B who’s pushing him into this embarrassing situation. She loves the 1st lady bit. Very sad. He was good in his time.

What on Earth were the Democrats thinking? I can only presume he refuses to step down and can't be removed against his will.

The real question is who is actually making decisions right now in the Executive branch? Because that confused old man we watched up on stage the other night clearly isn't running a damn thing.
  • @Buck3366
Did it REALLY take this debate to make people sit up and realise that Joe was well past it? I mean it’s like they’re acting like he was 45 and sharp as a tack and then it dawned he wasn’t! The guy could get lost in an empty room ffs.

the utterly tragic duplicitous corporate M$M does its best to act all surprised yet again 😂
  • The man needs his wife on every performance to prop him up it's obvious to the rest of the world his condition as severely deteriorated over the last month's he was the president in waiting for years but he should never never have been put forward by his party he was showing the signs back then .
  • @BunnyUK
Gu(ess who the biggest donors are, by amount of dollars? George & Alex Soros)
  • He'll be 82 at the end of this term. If he were to beat Trump, then 86 at the end of the next one. Look back at him 4 years ago, and imagine the change in the next 4 years. Which will probably be even greater. He needs to swallow his pride.
  • FEC rules that raised money can't be swapped out to another candidate also. People should understand US elections law before commenting
  • I don't imagine his biggest donor (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee) is all that concerned, since they also donate just as much to and have received assurances from the other party.
