If Chef is a Veteran and is in his 40s in 2007, then the only major War he could have fought in was the Gulf War in the 90s. Unless he had a brief tour in Afghanistan right before starting Total Drama. It’s important to remember that the characters are all Canadian, and Canada was not involved in either Vietnam or Iraq, so Chef could have never fought in either of those wars.

The reboot says that it’s been 15 years since Total Drama Island first premiered, meaning that when Owen appears on it, he is now 30.

9:46 Sometimes, it’s weird to look back at Dramarama and see just how much of an unstated impact was left by it. The timeline suddenly started floating, Chris and Chef were massively dialed back (in Chris’s case, it was an improvement) and the writing style of the reboot feels more in line with Dramarama than anything. I would also like to point out that you inadvertently inspired me to start making a rewrite of the 2nd season of the reboot, and Owen has actually aged in my rewrite.

The timeline in total drama has always annoyed me

The second season of the reboot is actually believe to take anywhere from 5 to 9 months because as stated that some characters have been training the last couple months I assume not just two months later cause we have seen characters got over their injuries and all that, but I don’t think it’s been a whole year from the two reboot seasons

I wish they made Owen look a bit older but making new models is probably super hard to do so just reuse Owen’s total drama island model but give him green eyes like in that one episode in action

I really really really get where you’re coming from especially because the total drama timeline has been messy for a while now like i’ve been confused for the longest time on when the continuity of TDAS, TDPI, and RR commence around each other

In my opinion Chris is overall main villain of Total Drama instead of Heather or Alejandro

A few other things 1. Priya at the oldest must be 15 since she has been training since birth, though that was implied in the video 2. Chris was most definitely lying about his age in TDPI by saying he was 30 3. Further adding on to the age of the cast being 17 during TDWT, they are all still minors because they can't enter a casino 4. Adding on to TDA being in Fall, it has to have begun in August because Geoff namedrops August during his DJ guilt trip 5. TD, at least early on, may have had the campers taking on-set classes like a lot of child actors

Owen looks younger because the new artstyle makes his crow feet less visible. 💀

Great video. The time line is nuts but even the day to day timeline doesn't make sense. I'm currently writing the script for my Eva video and I just now realized that "The Big Sleep" exists in a freaking time loop.

I just thought the timeline was based off of when the seasons were aired but I guess not
