Good job square enix. Simple enough explanation to get people's feet wet into the game and explained without the gritty details of time travel.

Honestly this video did a good job connecting Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I didn't think about the 7 pure hearts and 13 dark organization members. I thought 1 and 2 were just different attempts altogether.

When I first saw this I was floored by the final moments. Xehanort calling us to war, and the book swinging shut as “Destati” played was brilliant. It could not have left a greater sense of anticipation and excitement. Unfortunately, it has to be said that the final battle with the old man—in large part due to his music—did not live up to the moment.
