Thanks for this very useful info. I was just making a new CAMP at the skyline valley region that needs this technique desperately. Also you dont need the mannequin to activate the pressure plate. You can just press the "Toggle camera" option to go into free view and then select the plate and move it once, you will notice is permanently pressed and it stays pressed no matter were u move it.

Thaks for the video. Did you know you don't need a mannikin on the pressure plate? Just pick up the pressure plate once and move it, and it will be ready to use for merging.

I mean, are you having parties, having guests over? hanging out all day at your base lol I see my base maybe twice in 8 hours of game time, and I am there a couple mins, why do I care that my already quiet generator is humming a little or a couple wires are showing. Do you knit while you bake cookies as well?
