Ian's constant support and showcasing of VR finally convinced me to buy and I must say I have no regrets.

This makes me think of the initial release of the PS:VR. I walked into gamestop to witness the tail end of an argument between a customer and the cashier. After the customer left, the cashier told me that the customer had tried to return a PSVR headset because it "didn't work". The cashier tried to find out what was wrong. Apparently the customer got upset when the cashier told them that of course the headset wouldn't work if it wasn't plugged in to a PS4.
  • Vr is so realistic in GT7. All your real life driving instincts kick in. You have to use your head to look in the mirrors and use real spatial awareness when overtaking as everything is in full 3d at life size scale. It's a stunning experience and far more like real life driving than sitting on a sofa playing a game. If you love racing you need to try this.

Placing the headstrap as low as possible makes the clarity amazing, I usually kept it on the middle which was great too but this has helped with abit more clarity and comfort. Thank you Ps. Your banter is class

This guy makes good videos, is easy to understand, very knowledgeable, and funny at the same time. One of my favorite channels that I recently subscribed to.

Most of the blur issues are user error. Get the headset on properly and it will surprise you

"You'll be surprised by how much difference a millimetre can make." 😏

For the first time having a big head is a bonus lol. My ipd is perfectly centered at the max range of the psvr2 wheel so there is no struggle to be on the money. Some advice is to wear a ball cap backward where the bill is close to your neck. When I dont wear a ball cap the psvr2 seems to start to drift forward, the ball cap stops the psvr2 from moving.

Think the sad fact is people are always going to find a way to complain about VR image quality. But this is an incredibly detailed video on what to expect when picking up this headset. Honestly PSVR2 is a big step up from the first one.
  • LOL! I immediately jumped on VR2 with Grand Tourismo and was motion sick! I’m better now. LOL
  • For audio I suggest the pulse 3D headset! The volume control is easy to get too, you can plug it into 3.5mm jack or usb! Plus if you have the dual sense edge you can use the FN button to adjust volume, like for GT7

Some great tips just as I start my VR journey!!

Thanks for the headset position tip. I haven't been having much trouble with using it, but have noticed pressure on the nose so I'll give that a try.
  • @ajfsound
Be careful with point two: you don't necessarily want to move the front in 'as far as it will go' - this will cause the pressure on bridge of nose and can lead to fogging of the lens too. The micro-adjustment aspect is on point though: best to pause and use the menu text to tune out the blur. I do this by adjusting the front of the headband up/down where it rests on my forehead.

Ive played rift s with super sampling cranked up with my 3080. Psvr2 is still impressive, mura or not. Its nice having less random stutters and the screen really is clear
