If you double press the PS-button you get instant access to the PSVR card which have a shortcut to "adjust visibility".

Good advices for newcomers, but the real value of this video is the absolutely on spot sponsorship which has everything to do with the video at hand. So many eyeglass wearers can benefit from lens inserts. I am going to share the link with all my friends who use this or that VR, because guess why, they all wear glasses! Good partnership! Bravo!
  • @ExtraAtEase
The advice to play another game to improve clarity is brilliant. I think many people assume that all games look equally sharp.
  • According to SadlyItsBradley, turning down the brightness not only reduces mura - it also reduces motion blur due to the relatively high persistence of the OLED displays at high brightness. More research needed, he says.
  • @importon
"adjust visibility" should be done multiple times per session. I suspect a lot of people are reacting to re-projection though. This is the major source of eyestrain for me.
  • I've got mine really sharp. Prefer it to the index and G2 personally. Resident evil 8, GT7 and Horizon are fantastic.
  • @MrMightyZ
Great thanks. I would add 1 small tip for 1 specific type of player; If you wear glasses but are shortsighted like me, you might not need to wear them for VR because the screen is so close.

Nobody says why not use alcohol I have an electronics cleaning kit that come with wipes for LCD screens and glasses that's coated with a alcohol base. What will the alcohol do to the lens?

Hi I appriciate your video, however even with my eye in the sweet spot, the images isn't as good or as clear as if you were playing on a HD or 4K HDR TV, even it says it is on the box, that's not the case. Any other solutions to get the headset VR2 look crispier and sharper. Thanks
  • Could you get another headset to compare the mura? Maybe from someone that is complaining about it, to see if there is a difference.
  • @Q-Limited
Also , haven't seen this mentioned so much, it's important to calibrate the "eye tracking " before you "adjust visibility" And as for reprojection/ghosting, that differs per game basis and I found can be managed well, a faster turn speed helps me in free move games like star wars. Gt7 just have to live with it atm if you look at a Fast Moving car side on. No issue in some other games I tried.
  • @OdyBeRidin
Vetrean VR enthusiast here... So my biggest issue is motion blur. When I move my VR body in the game Horizon, the background blurs as it moves, but if I just move my head, the background is nice and fluid, no blur. Some have said this is the motion reprojection. I was just wondering if theres as issue with my PS 5 or PSVR2. The blur Im experiencing is exactly what I see in my PCVR headsets when the frame rates are low. Anyhow hope Sony can get a handle on this with FW updates.

I’m going fi definitely order these. I didn’t know you would have to wear glasses with VR (I just bought PSVR2 and it’s the first time I played VR since the early 90’s), when I put the headset on everything was blurry and I realized I needed glasses. My glasses are a pain with it and I figured I would just have to deal with it. After playing with it for an hour or so, I quit and clicked on this video. I figured lens inserts would be a couple hundred dollars as it’s pretty niche, but $45 is not bad at all.
  • @emyhR
What about the main menu? Should text be super clear there? Cuz mine have a blur to them. Kayak game the kayak and water look amazing but when I look at a mountain or trees they’re blurry and kind of ruin the game cuz I wanna sight see
  • @mgsv5297
Great info my friend! Thank you.
  • @shenmeowzo
I read that if you leave an OLED headset playing a very bright colourful moving video for several hours it can reduce the mura, have u heard this? Not sure how it would work but worth trying maybe. Lol
  • @mariodiaz2911
Ok, what if i spent almost 600 dollars and cant fucking afford the inserts. Have any advice for that?
  • @alanriordan
I ordered those prescription lens, thanks for the discount code. Looking forward to trying them out.
  • @Alan-lp5yu
Been waiting for lens inserts. Most are still in preorder phase. Just ordered the VR-Rock lenses using your code. Thanks!!
