PSVR2 is finally here!

Over the last week I've had time to adapt to VR gaming on console & had plenty of time to get to grips with & setup my PSVR2 correctly for each game.

Using this little tip can not only improve your PSVR2 experience but also improve your game quality too by reducing the 'blur' which is very heavily mentioned around the web

Sit back & Enjoy!🏁

Let me save you 8 minutes: 1. Make sure headset fit is correct 2. Turn Exposure and Saturation to max settings in game and adjust brightness down in PSVR settings 3. Wipe smudges off lenses Really didn't need 8 minutes to say that but I'm sure there's some sort of monetization reason for it
  • Cheers for these tips. Here is one in return: when racing turn off all track data, car info and drivers names. It makes a world of difference.

I pretty much doubled picture quality simply by not using my Pulse 3D headphones and using the packed in earbuds instead. The headphones were pushing the headset out of position. And I discovered that the earbuds are actually pretty good!

I love GT7 with my PSVR2, I will never race without it ;)

Nearly 20k subs bro , well done 👏
  • If you press the option/pause button while you are playing you can turn the EV up even further, in the settings there.

I have my sweet spot. Know exactly how to wear the headset, and I’m noticing blurring around the edges. I have notice that some games it is worse than others. For me, all games are crystal clear when I look straight forward. Even with eye tracking on, if I look at the edges without turning my head they are blurry. The worse for me is RE Village. The least blur for me is Kayak. So my question is, are some games better with the eye tracking and rendering, or is this a setting issue that I’m missing? Hardware wise I can’t see anything on the lenses that creates the blur. After watching this video I feel like each game may have individual settings that I need to find an adjust. Any help would be appreciated!

The only real way to fix this is SONY to not give up on VR and keep pushing the tech. To get real 4K on VR we would need 8K per eye, 16K total. When we get there, with 120Hz, than most motion sickness and definitely all blurriness will go away.

My is clear , did u take off the protective film off lenses!
  • I'm so pissed off. Out of nowhere my love controller stopped working in Horizon my right controller stopped working in Resident Evil. After spending over an hour and talk into four different people at Sony I came to the conclusion it was pointless for me to even send it back because so many units are doing the same damn thing. The most I could get out of them for an answer was they think it's a software issue and they're not sure if or when the patch will be released

For someone that has to wear glasses with this thing, it will always be blurry. Sucks. You get glare off the lenses which causes a haze. Nothing you can do about it. Bummer

I have a lot of color fringing around white texts is that normal?

Hi, I have issue with PSVR2 playing gran Turismo 7. While I'm playing it seems blurry and grainy. It looks like the eye tracking is not working and not increasing the resolution at the point where I'm looking. I've tried re-setting and adjusting the headset and it's better but I've noticed one thing. When I pause the game and look at the options I can only see the point I'm looking directly at (I have my head turned to it) in focus. When I roll my eyes to the next option the text is blurry. But when I turn my head all the way to the next option, I can see the text clearly now. It looks like the image is only in focus where my head is turned and when I'm looking straight ahead. The focusing of the image does not respond to movement of the eyes only. I observe the same thing with the main menu of the game and I think it's the same directly while playing the game. But when I set the eye tracking in the settings, everything seems fine and the control dot responds to my eye movement. Could someone who has no problem with image sharpness please try this scenario in GT7 to see if it behaves the same way?

GT7 has lower resolution in PSVR probably to perform better... you have 2k screen per eye but it doesn't show you 2k image... other thing is lenses, sadly psvr is using older type, I hope there will be option to replace them with new type that has no blur on sides.
