Evers is on the inside of Myles and get’s him into the first corner, with the two Nicks in his sights.
Darren watches as the 550 of Fisk gets a storming start and loses out Colin around the outside of Farm in the 348.
I stay level with Wayne at the start and keep the power on around the kink protecting the inside line into Village taking the lead.
Nick Taylor takes Nick Cartwright into Brooklands, but Cartwright doesn’t give in and returns the favour into Copse. On the approach to Maggots tyres smokes gives away Nicky Paul-Barrons gear selection error as he spins off the track (how did he do that. Tut)
Darren goes wide on the exit of Beckett and Jim Cartwright pulls through along the Hanger straight with Butler following through at Stowe.
Wayne as all over me for the remainder of the lap
Evers fighting with Nick T through Luffield is taken by Andy Reddick into Copse then manages to take him back into Village on the next lap and is back onto Nick T into Brooklands, powering through out of Luffield.
Darren get’s Butler into Copse, whilst Wayne keeps the pressure on me for 5 laps. Defensive driving is hard work, and I finally make a mistake into Club, loosing the back and stepping over the kerb and off the power, allowing Wayne through and put him under pressure by Village and keeping the pressure on.
As we pass Jago into Copse, I feel confident I can get a good run through Maggots, only to select 2nd instead of 4th, and repeat Nicky P-Bs error. Damn, through the gravel and crawl to the pits to remove the gravel.........
