Here’s some additional questions & answers I may have missed in the video:
Why did I get Sisterlocs: I needed a Permanent versatile style that resemble my loose Natural hair, where I can get up shake my hair & go
Date installed: March 26-28, 2018 Yep 3 days but so worth it
Where did I get them installed: Houston, TX
My length upon installation: 15-25 inches
How many locs do I have? No clue due to personal reasons I’m NOT going to count them
The cost: Prices may vary but...
Consultation for me was $50
Installation approx. $500 & up depends on your length
The maintenance: Retightened every 4-6 weeks
Are they permanent: Yes however, u can comb them out or cut them out
What is slippage? It’s when some of the hair within the loc “slips” out of the loc or the loc comes undone. *This cost additional money for the loctician to fix 😩 Thank God I haven’t had any thus far...
What is pruning?: It’s when you cut any fly away or unwanted hair from each individual Sisterloc to make the hair look tamed & unfriz
