I think articulation is the most difficult component of actually playing the flute. It is so personalized.
  • @macindalou

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent- All what need to know about " Tonguing " is explained perfectly, while proving how a pro play and teach. No words to say about that Jasmine. Seconly I give my humble hat off respect to your generous expose about these valuble technics. As a Hindustani bambo flute (Bansuri)practitioner I know the value of this lessons Jasmine. Amoung all YT marketing oriented flute Misthros !!!?, you are the best ,honest and humble tutor I came across next to Emily with "The Flute Channel". Thank you very much Jasmine. All the successes to your music life๐Ÿ™โค

Before I learned double tonguing, I first played with the single tonguing at 126 until I was confident with it. My teacher told me that Te-Ke (Ti-Ki), Ke-Te (Ki-Ti) etc. works better than Da-Ga Da-Ga, maybe it will help some people here.
  • @fluteteatime

The different sound effects are so cool! ๐Ÿคฉ (The piggy shooting with โค-bullets... killed me... ๐Ÿ˜‹ โ˜บ )
  • @angieallen4884
Love the adorable graphics! I use double-tonguing all the time in my band group and it is surprising how many flutists are unaware of the technique.

Watching this video reminds me the old days when I learned the flute and the 7 years of playing it. It makes me want to pick it up again and try it again. I stopped playing because I didnโ€™t want to be a professional but just enjoy it. My private teacher saw a talent and wanted me to pursue it professionally and that what took the fun out of it for me.
  • @mariodingcongy38
