Gianni has a long standing hatred for slow machines, a perfect hatred one might say.
-
Bro the 1989 computer still works better than my iPhone 6 💀
-
Gianni does hate some old version 1.0 machines.

I love how the computer's chimneys are made out of toilet paper tubes. It really adds to that home made design.

Slowed down to 5999 FPS for a tenth of a second while running seven instances of Star Citizen with ray tracing all at once. To the shredder.

This reminds me of when my dad had a windows XP computer for like the longest time. It would legit take 10 minutes or more to load pages and he was just content with doing that. I had no idea how he could stand it. Now my computer boots up in less than a minute.

I just learnt how my puter works and if something takes unusually long time I go like "something's wrong I can feel it"

"Hey old PC, can you open Photoshop, i need something done real quick?" "This little maneuver will cost us 7 years"

I remember turning on the family computer, then walking away to grab a snack or something, knowing I was just going to be sitting and waiting elsewise. Once it got to the desktop, it needed a minute or two to 'settle' before it could properly run any programs. I still let it sit for a minute because it was just such an engrained habit, even though within like 4 seconds of displaying the desktop, my current computer is ready to run anything.

Im still amazed how a decade ago i could patiently wait a few minutes for a youtube video to load, but now i barely have patient to finish watching a meme.

I loved the 90s PCs that went click-clack-crrrrrr when they were calculating stuff and reading and storing data. Computer thinking noises <3
