"If it's good enough for a man, it's good enough for me" preach
  • First time I'm seeing somebody especially a dermatologist not shying away from showing hairloss and how they are treating it :)

You are such a light in the YouTube skincare community. So open, honest, and unbelievably smart.

I have been trying this hair growth serum of reactivate littleexttrra for a really long time now and feeling good with the outcomes I have got with it... it's my 3rd serum bottle now. This serum has to be applied to the scalp so it performs like magic to a dry scalp. I apply it typically before bed time and just rub it well into my hair....and cleanse it the next morning. I have noticed hair growth and enhancement in my hairline.

I had success with Minoxidil as well as cortisone injections for alopecia areata. Hair loss is traumatic and after being told by several dr’s that it’s just cosmetic, not a big deal, etc, it’s really nice to hear you acknowledge this. Thank you.
  • The haircare Gods have finally answered prayers. ✨ Thank you so much for being so upfront with this Dr Idriss. We stan a knowledgable Queen.

We need more...haircare, skincare of not just our face but for the whole body. Summer is coming up and i believe a lot of us suffer from prickly heat or whatever the heat causes.

The time I faced hairfall, I did all the following to successfully control it: Make a habit of doing scalp massage into your routine. Don’t use very hot water when rinsing your hair. Protect your hair from too much sweat. Use a wide tooth neem comb to brush out wet hair. Decrease your sugar and unhealthy food intake. Use mild anti hair fall shampoo and oil like Littleeextra coccconion. Maintain a positive mindset for overall well being.

Thanks for the video! I have actually one really good tip to share for hair drying :D Take your husbands T-shirt (should be bigger in size) and use that as hair wrap. I found that big heavy towels kept tugging on my hair, especially the front of head. I can notice the same happening here in the video. It is heavy, so it tends to slip backwards, tugging the hair along with it. Using the T-shirt wrap - love that. You basically put your head in from the body opening and then fold it back and make a knot in front of head with T-shirt sleeves. It works sooo well and absorbs the liquid much faster + it is light, so not tugging on hair.

Thank you so much for making this video. I am experiencing hair loss right now after having covid and it feels good to know that others are/have gone through the same thing. It is very traumatizing and I feel so seen. Thank you <3
  • @bazakoski

  • Dr Idriss, thank you! I always learn a little bit, breathe a sigh of relief and validation a little bit (and sometimes have an oops/might want to make a little change moment) from your videos.

Thank you for all the recommendations. I don’t have a hair loss from the root problem, but rather a bad breakage problem. It sounds like some of your suggestions may help. I appreciate you sharing what’s worked for your hair. Your hair looks great, so you’re a good example for the products you suggested.
