From watching a lot of your videos, I've learned I'm a Dark Winter. Which makes sooo much sense. But I always got confused because people strongly suggested I was "warm undertoned' because my asking is beige/tan (depending on the season) and had brown eyes. The typical trope of always being warm if you are tanned and have deep eyes. I've been styling as if my undertone is "yellowish" when in reality it's PINK! Also, you have no idea how much orange I've worn in my life and it turns out I'm a Dark Winter :')

I'm I the only person who genuinely wants to understand all stuff like Kibbe and seasons and generally understands information when they're being taught yet when I watch videos like this it's like I can't even understand english
  • I love this color theory and i think over time i really trained my eye. But now im super confused about what season i am. Its so hard to objectively look at yourself and determine if your bright, muted, etc
  • Thank you so much for breaking this down for us! It's pretty basic and yet most struggle when it comes to knowing yourself! 🔥❤️

Just realize i'm a dark winter! Finally found a reason why i look washed out wearing orange, despite having a slight yellow undertone. I can still wear yellow but nothing too warm.

I've been trying to refine my colors for years and you have finally made it all make sense!!!! Thank you so much!
  • The three aspects explain so much! I definitely want to learn more and hope you have a video that expands on what you shared here. Thank you!
  • I see your channel currently covers six seasonal color palettes (including what I believe is mine, dark winter), and I hope you cover the other six eventually as well. I just really like colors! These could also perhaps help me with character design (appearance-wise, at least) and drawing other people's characters in outfits they don't wear canonically (e.g. formal wear if they never appear at a formal event in the story).

Yaaaaasss the color theory queen is back ❤️❤️❤️

BEST EXPLANATION!!! I am bright/warm....a bright spring. Best colors are turquoise, emerald green, and coral. Now I know why 😊

Just found your channel 2 days ago and watched all your videos. 3 times! thank you for this valuable information!
  • No way! I was actually searching for you today to see if you were ever going to do more videos and here is it!
  • You have done a great job with these videos!! Please keep them coming and you have fairly done so for women of color as well ❤ awesome work for everyone… Thank you. This has been the best channel I have found on this topic. Hope to see more videos coming soon for the New Year 🎉!!!
  • Thank you for the great explanation! Now that I think/know I am a soft autumn, how do I know which colors that means? What is the difference in colors within a season?
  • “If your primary characteristic is dark, so the darkest color of the wheel will flatter you”. Okay, no wonder I look soo much better with dark brown hair although my natural hair color is lighter brown. I have almost black eyeballs! 😄
  • This is good. I'ma always confused on whether I'm neutral or bright. I KNOW I'm warm. but blues/purples look good on me. I wonder if they have more warmth to them and I hadn't realized. earth tones look so good on me. so I'm between autumn dark or true and the warmest brightest spring. bc there's a golden yellow that really makes me look alive. but I definitely get away with bolder colors no matter the temp. even baby blue and pinks look good on me. 😅 idk but I'ma lean into the warm gold's, greens and oranges for now. maybe royal blues mixed with greens. basically anything with heavy saturation no matter the color, in pretty fly in 😂😅. I hope that's not confusing. bc I'm confused haha
  • Love your videos so much. Changed my entire wardrobe! Also wanted to ask where’s your shirt from queen, love the scalloping
