Valarie Allman won her second straight Olympic gold in the women's discus with a best mark of 69.50m. Allman is one of only three women in history to successfully defend her Olympic title in this event. Bin Feng of China took silver and Sandra Elkasevic of Croatia took bronze.

  • Go Sandra, u really told it like it is. NBC and Peacock suck at Field coverage.
  • NBC Sports isn't doing a nearly a good enough job covering womens discus this Olympics. Allman is BY FAR THE BEST American discus thrower in history!! Overall, she's throwing distances that haven't been seen in like the past 3 decades.
