What does the killing of Hamas leaders and Netanyahu's belligerent approach mean for the hostages?

As Hamas considers its leadership options following the killing of its political leader Ismail Haniyeh, attention is turning to the Palestinian militant group's chief on the ground in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar. Israel believes Sinwar is the man who orchestrated the October 7 terror attacks and has been both pursuing, and seeking to kill him, ever since.
Following the targeted killings of Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’ top political leader in Iran, and Fuad Shukr, a top Hezbollah commander in southern Beirut, Israel has said that it is prepared for possible retaliation from Iran and Hezbollah. Yet the families of the 115 remaining hostages in Gaza fear that the escalation will make a cease-fire deal even more elusive. Indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel have so far been unsuccessful, and the threat of a wider conflict in the region appears to be growing.
Israel has neither claimed responsibility for Haniyeh's death nor denied it.

This guy Sinwar really does mean to attack Israel. he even said it openly.
  • Ask Egypt where the hostages are! Tunnels led into the Sinai.
  • Sinwar will now be pissing in his pants not knowing when his end will come !!
  • @jonov1100
Sinwar is a DEAD MAN WALKING. He can run but he can't hide forever.

    LOL, German's defining "belligerent".
  • Sin + War = Coward! Using his own people as human shields and then hiding in luxury resorts 🤮 you cannot run from GOD'S JUDGMENT 🔥
  • Sinwar is a prisoner in those tunnels. Imagine haunting around the labyrinth never knowing what's around every corner. Never able to use a cell phone or breath fresh air or sleep well at night. Wondering if one of your own men will eventually sell you out in exchange for a deal. Wow!

Do really think the hostages are still alive? I doubt it.
  • @jaegybomb
Anyone else kind of surprised they could smuggle in rockets for decades but couldn't smuggle Deif out of the country? Probably means Sinwar is still there too.
  • The irony😅.. In the same breadth you say haniye is careful not to use any devices, but he sent a message commending the death of many Palestinians 😂
