My first thought was how many billions of people have never had such a luxury toy.

The Sea is a very Cruel and Unforgiving Mistress. Disrespect Her at your own peril. 👀😳

They had two anchors out-stern and bow to keep the 187 ft boat from swinging about. Bad and dangerous-this boat could have made it in open sea or with a drough anchor keeping bow into the wind. It was probably broadsided by a huge gusting wind and rolled when the anchors held her, unable to turn. We used a plow on the bow and a Danforth on the stern, so the Danforth would drag a bit if in a pinch, pointing the boat into the wind. The plow wouldn't budge-had to swim down a few times to dig her out. The Danforth would drag in all situations pretty much-few feet at times, but a nice, light anchor. We had babies aboard-never never drank, always wore life jackets. Sailed in Everglades where the biggest danger was mosquitoes-millions in black clouds!!!!!! And owls 4ft tall. On a boat there is 0 room for error.

When in doubt blame the Yacht builder. Yep why not.

For most people on earth, something like that would be nearly impossible to happen 😔

Celebrating his acquittal, karma comes knocking pretty hard sometimes.

    Tycoons No more...👀😳
  • The media is trash. Just utter garbage. This piece shows you who they work for...

This is still the 3-4th billionaire/convicted criminal, who has disappeared or died right before sentencing. It takes 32 years to count to a billion. Money can buy anything anymore. It's crazy. I hope he went out having fun with his family, but my trust doesn't go that far, when I start seeing a pattern of it. 3 in the last few years? Pattern or coincidence?

Why is this national news in the US?

waking up violently lying on a wall in pitch blackness and the door on the ceiling i would be a doomed...even in daylight i'm not sure how i'd manage climb out (not that i'm athletic to begin with...i'd probably be doomed no matter what..) 😞 the youtube channel esysman superyachts showed a clip of what a massive gust of wind did to two boats (one a tall masted ship without sail) and it was crazy, it looked like a windy rainy night and suddenly they were tossed like toys

So sad i was aboard USS HANCOCK CVA-19 for 3yrs and believe me when I tell you the ocean can do anything to any ship if you make a mistake i hope they find the young girl.
  • @cadilacdesert
ship was sitting on a pile of drowned migrants from Middle East and Africa that received no rescue.
