I don't understand how this can be the final season when Harald has JUST arrived in the Byzantine Empire. He has like 3 seasons worth of historical arc yet to live in Constantinople, in the Varangian Guard, etc. This series was supposed to end with the Battle of Hastings, no? That's still decades in his future.

Finally: One of the most famous warriors and leaders of the Varangians was Harald Hardrada who spent a decade in the service of his emperor. Besides many other adventures, he and his fellow Varangians fought alongside the great Byzantine general George Maniakes in Sicily in 1038 CE, capturing Messina and Syracuse.

So Emily in Paris gets 5 seasons, but this show only gets 3!? Netflix has lost their minds. They have ruined Avatar: The last Airbender, they canceled Shadow and Bone and now Vikings: Valhalla, but gave Riverdale 7 seasons and Emily in Paris 5 seasons🙄
