Afro-cuban dances and modern dances land in NYC with Frank "Killer Joe" Piro, Katherine Dunham and Martha Graham; Last meeting with Herbert "Whitey" White; Cabin in the Sky; Norma Miller works 9, 12 and 3 to learn new dance's styles and eventually hit the road as a solo act; Frankie Manning's Congaroos; Norma Miller and Roy Glenn.
MUSIC: Count Basie on V-Disc, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Mills Brothers, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Lucky Millinder, Naomi and Her Handsome Devils, Lionel Hampton, Billy Bros. Swing Orchestra.

Music, Culture and History of the 30's and the 40's by Big Daddy, on behalf of the Italian Swing Dance Academy, in 36 episodes from January 2023 until March 2025.
During each episode, you'll meet topics and artists related to the Swing Craze, based on my studies, researches and personal experiences. Every episode is a black history's one with Big Daddy.
(From April 2023 it is going to be a mothly episode, on air on the 22nd of each month until March 2025)

Btw, who is Big Daddy? Band leader, singer and double bass player of the "Billy Bros. Swing Orchestra", Swing dance teacher, DJ, MC, lecturer, Swing historian, journalist, translator; Big Daddy has spent 4 years in close daily contact with the late Miss Norma Milller, the Queen of Swing, talking about stories and anecdotes of 100 years of life spent with the greats of Jazz, Swing, Cabaret and Lindy Hop.
