Hi! I'm Lina and I'm a trans woman. I've recently joined a few trans communities where I found a lot of questions other trans women have: I'll try my best to help where I can.

This video is about my experience at maximizing passing by carefully considering my wardrobe.

I apologize for the technical difficulties: for different levels of brightness and discrepancies in the lighting, for the noise of my mic and especially for 30 second of camera being out of focus πŸ˜₯. I will work on improving it for future videos

I'm a cis woman with this body type and these are some solid tips!!❀❀

I've watched quite a few videos and read a few blogs about it, but nothing has made it as clear to me as here. Thanks for the help!

Qneetza -- Thank you for some excellent advice to achieve balance by using outfits which minimise broad shoulders, large rib cages and narrow hips for trans women, to help them pass
  • This is so helpful! I'm helping my mtf kiddo learn to shop and dress and your information left me feeling more at ease with this exciting time.

Damn your body looks great girl! And your face! If passing is what your goal is then you are a success!

I feel like you don't have much to worry about, fashion-wise. Your body shape works well with all of the outfits you showed. I think most trans women (myself included) are going to have a much harder time finding flattering outfits. That's where supportive friends and family (particularly cis females) come in handy. But then, I'm "out" as trans. Unfortunately, if a trans person isn't "out" that can make life pretty difficult. I've often wished there were local classes or something to provide tips customized for individuals.

Thank you for taking the time to put together your detailed information. And actually showing different clothes pairings to help understand what you explain. I still have much to learn, you have given me the much needed basics.

What a wonderful instructional video. It’s full of good practical advice. By the way you do present as a very attractive feminine woman πŸ‘©.

Thank you Lina! A very thorough and informative video. Please don't worry about the "technical" worries you have, the video and audio quality are completely acceptable and better than a lot of others on YouTube! Just subbed and looking forward to watching more of your offerings.

Yeah, I’m a biological woman with a 22” shoulder width. The average width for men in the US is 16”. Even when I was 20 lbs below my ideal body weight I was still a size 12/14. I could have been in a concentration camp and still be a β€œplus-sized β€œ woman. I’m 5’ 10” with a deep voice and I’m naturally feminine. We come in all sizes.

Great advice loved seeing some of the outfits you've put together I'm one of the lucky few who wa blessed with a more feminine body shape growing of larger hips and thighs

very informative video! i hope you can continue this series, it's suprisingly hard to get practical looks advice for trans people online. if i could make a suggestion, could you do a video on hair styles/hair treatment?

I actually almost do have this body type, with a masculine neck as well because I work out.. but I do have the advantage of being so small that no one would ever think I was male! I do these tips though because I prefer to look feminine aesthetically ❀

Looking gorgeous! Looking forward to more fashion tips pre-HRT. I'm AMAB, but have a triangle shape where my hips are slightly wider than my shoulders.
