He took the blame, I SHOULD HAVE noticed his bell was rung. That's a pro.
-
The thing i respect most about the undertaker is that he is always honest, never tried to back down from criticism

Theres no reason to headbutt a door or wall before a match offcamera.
-
Wished this match happened in 2003 or 2004😢
-
This should’ve been wrestleMania 2004- 2006
-
Summerslam 1998. Austin and Taker bonked heads and Austin was clearly concussed. Taker basically carried Austin the entire match and it ended up being very good.
-
This match was hard to watch. I’m glad we got the WrestleMania XXXVI match with Styles as a proper send off.
-
He’s a real one, at least he acknowledges he didn’t care for Goldberg safety, taker is basically saying he cared about the match being as good as he projected it to be. Until he realized last moment the match was getting dangerous!! That tombstone Goldberg took looked very unsafe

Integrity is a great quality to have.

The crowd still chanted "this is awesome" right before the botched finish.

I love Undertaker's take on this. It wasn't Goldberg's fault but rather he was upset that he didn't realize the issues on hand. As a musician, I always pride myself on being able to improvise when someone makes a mistake. Recently I was working with a young guy and I thought we were going great, that I absolutely missed his error on one of our last songs, and we totally messed up. People blamed him....but I supported him. He made a mistake but we are a team and I messed up by not covering. As the group leader, I really should have picked up on it.

i appreciate how we got kane vs goldberg both in their kinda prime. kinda like how we at least got sting confronting corporate kane.

Goldberg receives so much criticism for that match, but if you look closely, he actually slipped and hit his head real hard on to that ring post. It was purely an accident.

Man I wish the WCW invasion angle had all the top WCW guys. Can you imagine how awesome that would have been. 😢

I think it is funny in a wierd way how there are so many marks out there who can tell you which Wrestlemania it was when the Undertaker lost the streak but yet the Undertaker himself is like "Which Wrestlemania was that?!" lol. That is one Hell of a concussion when he can't remember anything from 2pm that day till the time he was in the hospital. I am really enjoying these post career Undertaker shoot interviews. It amazes me how he just seems to be such a laid back cool, NICE GUY! So completely different than the character we saw him play all those years, much like a Stan Hansen or Stone Cold Steve Austin. It just makes you appreciate the dedication to plating that character that he had all the more and on a different level than you did back in the day

Thank you Chris for this. I've seen videos about the match but they're basically assumptions. Its good to hear about it from the legend himself.

The Undertaker is the best
-
somewhere 1999 - 2004 would've been a great time period for this match

I still think that both of them had some dehydration issues and possibly some exhaustion from the heat. I've had both and neither is pleasant especially at their age.
