Gracias Danny! You are correct in not being afraid to make mistakes and learning from them.
  • One time I was praying in Spanish and I asked God to forgive my "pescados" (fish) when I meant to say "pecados" (sins). One time my Mexican friend who had a thick accent said in English that she had written something on a "piece of sheet" when she meant a sheet of paper. 😅

2:22 I once replied to “¿estás lista?” with “no, no soy lista aún.” 🤦🏾‍♀️ And this is when I realized how important it is learn “Ser vs Estar
  • Good job! I think you could take each mistake separately and make a video out of them with more examples. Maybe you already did this. Well, I have sub’d to so many YouTubers I get messed up with too many to follow. I think in a way that is a mistake too and I am guilty of them all a little or a lot! ❤

Hi Danny. I am three quarters along the Spanish course of a well known app. I found your channel a few weeks ago and jumped right back to the beginning of my Spanish language learning journey. Thanks to you everything now seems so much more simple. Much of the fog has cleared. I am going on holiday to Andalusia next week. I am so excited. It is going to be fun. Many thanks to you. I won't forget to tell my friends about your channel.

Hello Danny! I am English major, I want to speak English well, also my third language-Spanish. Hope I could persistently take your courses. Muy gracias 🎉
  • Learning a whole new language is a lot. My few main objectives with learning is sentence structures (nouns before adjectives), direct and indirect object pronouns, the many uses of que, and conjugations, especially past tense. I know you've done videos on these topics already, but I figured it's one of those situations where the more I look into it and apply it, it will stick.
  • Hola, Professor Danny. I have a request. Since it's baseball season, it would be great to have a session that goes over basic baseball terms. Things like the positions, words for batter, pitcher, fastball, curveball, etc. And maybe handy phrases for a fan to yell. Good-naturedly, of course, like how to say "Strike him out!", or "Run, run, run". I'm a season ticket holder for a minor league baseball team. The minor leagues have a great program called "Copa de la Diversion", where teams can have an alternate identity on Tuesdays to celebrate the heritage and culture of their local Latino/Hispanic communities. 98 teams are participating this season. My local team is the Reyes De Plata. It would be fun to be able to take part by rooting in the spirit of the games.

  • Can you do a video on different pronunciations that different teachers use when saying simple words like Voy.. most teachers will say it's pronounced like boy while others will pronounce the v as in voyage.
