CTR is freaking amazing. It has a learning curve but man once you learn the mechanics the gameplay is breathtaking.

People voting for Mario Kart just haven't played CTR. Once you play CTR and get good, you can't go back.

Honestly, why wasn’t Crash among the racers in the Death Race that had Mario & Sonic? Honestly; I just find CTR so much easier to control and thrilling to play. Whether it be OG CTR vs MK64, CNK vs MKSC, or CTRNF vs MK8.

Crash ended up surprising me, but Mario just has such a huge kit to choose from. He can become giant, metal, invisible, invincible, use fire, lightning, bombs, turn into a missile, grow piranha plants... I think the Crash kart might be stronger on average but Mario can just keep throwing new powers at it constantly.
