    One of the most underrated male singers of all time. Had the privilege of seeing him live 2 nights in a row some year's ago in Melbourne.,Australia. Believe have seen most of the top singers in the world live, both in Australia and overseas. Nobody, But nobody comes close to this deeply melodic powerhouse. A disgrace he was largely ignored.

    In the early 70's Doby appeared in Phila. _ can't remember where _ my wife and sister in law went to his show __ I watched the kids _ my wife took two albums to get autographed __ after the show Doby sat and greeted his fans. I still have these albums. Both my wife and sister in law told me how nice and thoughtful he was. Till this day I listen to his music . A wonderful music man that left great recordings
