  • I now understand why dolls are talked about in old books as costing like, the equivalent of thousands of dollars and being a status symbol. amazing craftsmanship

As a ceramic sculptor myself, I just want to say that you set an incredibly high standard in every thing you create. Your sculpting is beautiful and your molds are frankly wonderful. An amazing attention to detail too. Wonderful to watch. And also talking about safety is very important and not enough ceramics artists talk about it, so good on you for that!❤

I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you making a male porcelain doll, there’s such a lack of male dolls in the doll world (especially porcelain) so it makes me incredible happy whenever I see someone make one 💜 Not to mention Friedrick is so handsome ✨

You are a potter and a seamstress and a tailor and a cobbler and a cosmetologist and a makeup artist and a doll maker. There are many within all of these that I’ve missed, I’m sure. But to say you are a master of many trades is an understatement. I admire anyone with the skill, vision and talent to see this project through to the end. It really is miraculous. Thank you so much for sharing it all with us. I hope your channel grows quickly and massively, as you deserve. ✌🏻🤍

The levels of absolute precision, dedication, and artistry you've put into these dolls is astounding!
  • @Jack-fq4jd
I am truly amazed. I can't even image how many hours and patience it must have took you. I am sure it's a process not too much different from birthing a child. Doll-making is an art form on all levels, and the old style porcelain way takes it even further. Love and admiration from Italy

I am blown away...I can't believe I saw a 50 min video with such attention. I usually talk to others when watching but I actually did back whenever I missed even 10 seconds of the video. I absolutely love it and I am so in awe. This is so gorgeous wow! I can't believe how long, how much patience, practice and everything that it takes. I feel so emotional and stunned and I am not even exaggerating! Both of them are amazing, the details that you added to each part and the coloring stage! I am so impressed aaaaa I thought they were twins though and not a couple...? 😭

Your work is beautiful! I'm used to seeing repaint videos with Monster High dolls or other fashion dolls, but I had never seen someone sculpting such a beautiful doll from scratch out of porcelain. When you said you had to burn each paint layer and that the process took week, it reminded of other doll artists that use Mr Super Clear sealant between each layer. The difference is that the stakes here are much higher, you cannot remove the paint after it burns. I was just mesmerized by the process. Subscribed!
  • I've seen tons of doll making videos, and your precision, attention to detail, and finishings are absolutely the best I've e seen so far. Beautiful work!!!!
  • I had never before seen a doll made from idea to posed end product. I'm an admirer, not a collector, so this is an "uninformed" assessment. This video held me spellbound. The range of skills, the depth of knowledge and degree of craftsmanship required is jaw-dropping. The results are magnificent. I now have a much deeper respect for and appreciation of doll makers.
  • @Dan-xx5jq
I wish I could buy them. They are so beautiful. The attention to detail is just incredible!! These are works of art that will be discussed on YouTube 100 and 200 years from now. You are immortal. You will live on forever in your works of art.
  • @bubikkk
They look like Charles and Camilla from The Secret History, they are so elegant!! I’m in love, truly a work of art
  • @p.g.3419
I fully consider it art, because the artist has his own identity and personality which he transmits to his creations which become so unmistakable, they bear the signature of their creator, their appearance is unique and there is no other identical one.
  • I didn't realise quite how much painstaking work it takes to make a perfectly unique porcelain doll. No wonder they cost so much money to buy. Thank you for such an interesting and informative video. I think the dolls and their clothes, boots and hair are exquisite. Xxx
  • @GradKat
They’re incredibly beautiful. I’m blown away by your skill and craftsmanship.
  • Absolutely blown away with the attention to all the minute details. I stumbled across your channel and was mesmerized by the process of making these dolls. I can't get over all the care and time you take to delicately sculpt and assemble them. These are true works of fine art.
