No foul against Jordan as I love her but the Romanians were robbed. Stop blaming Jordan but blame the judges and politics! They all were amazing but felt so bad for them 😢

Sabrina Voinea was the real gymnast robbed here... They deducted 0.1 points for stepping out when she clearly didn't. She should've won Bronze with a score of 13.8.

This isn’t Jordan’s fault, it’s not Team USA’s fault. It’s a rule, an established rule that everyone knew about and was in agreement with. I follow gymnastics and have seen this rule work against American gymnasts and in favor of gymnasts from other countries. The IOC needs to do better in order to prevent something like this from happening. Both gymnasts performed beautifully and should hold their heads high and be proud of each other.

I am American and as much as I love the American team, I think the Romanians were robbed. I watched their entire routines in the floor finals and they did an outstanding performance, one of them jumping more than 12 feet high, flawless routines, amazing difficulty. Biles put two feet out of the square, twice! and Chiles had several imbalances and also made mistakes. No one should be granted a medal making those mistakes, when we are asking for perfection. My sister was artistic gymnastics coach in the 90s, so I know quite a lot about this sport because I have been attending countless gymnastic events in my life. When the Romanians did their exercises I was certain they were gonna get a medal, both of them. What happened at the end was not fair.

You left out the other Romanian who would have finished 3rd. They said she went out of bounds when the video shows clearly that she did not. The crocked judges ignored it when it was obvious.

Jordan has done the same routine 3 times (qualification, team final, floor final). Throughout the Olympics she was credited with 5.8, but somehow during the final she got 5.9? On top of that, Sabrina (5th place) was given -0.1 penalty for OOB even though her feet never touch beyond the boundary line. How convenient lol

Ana Barbosu!!! You are the Winner in many of our hearts! Keep moving forward, "y nunca te rindas!" Romania 🇷🇴 Mucho Abrazos!

I'm sorry her heart was broken but the blame lies with her team. In the NBC coverage, the announcers state there was an inquiry for Jordan's score before Ana even starts celebrating. Her team should have told her to wait until the final score. Considering, they had just placed an inquiry into Sabrina's score, they knew it could change.
  • Both Romanian girls (Ana Barbosu and Sabrina Voinea) were amazing during the floor final. I genuinely don't understand how Jordan finished ahead of both of them...

This is sad.... Yes, theyre professionals and should be aware of how the scoring works in their sport... but she's literally a teenager, that had to suck. Congrats to Jordan, but shame on the judges.
  • @superdraws3823
Ana , you are the best and the one that should have won🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴
  • @mandymaedeich
I feel so bad for her… but happy for all the girls for making it to the Olympics !!! ❤
  • @ABSG7
You’ve gotta advocate for yourself, even in the Olympics
  • Wishing you all the best Ana, keep on working hard and get your revenge at the next Olympics.Shame on those judges.
  • I think they should have made it a Tie Instead of Breaking Ana’s Heart 💔
  • @BabeKay01
I believe this needs to be avoided in future Olympics. After a certain routine is performed, if you doing an appeal it needs to be 30secs-1 min after the performance is finished. Giving judges time to consider, grade & them post the final results. OR NO APPEALS. This was a robbery for Ana!!! I’ve seen on other nights, points added & people scores moved AFTER PUBLIC display & praise on results. Especially, for the US & I am American. Has to be a better system.
  • @jackih2011
Those judges should have scored it correctly in the first place there wouldn't be a need to give the bronze medal to Ana..then in what less than a minute.. Snatch it away from her! I'm sorry for her but I'm happy that Jordan won her first individual medal!💙💙
  • @ankaenglish
Congrats Rebecca and Simone, but Jordan was nr 5, this is not the first time happens to Romanians, the Russians at least did it smoother, there was no need to do this, after all if the Russians were allowed to compete the whole results would have been different.

My first comment has been removed. I try this one. Our gymnast Ana Bărbosu has been stolen the bronze medal - there is a video record on FB. All the jurors should NEVER participate in international competitions. An US televisions debated the case and it shown CLEARLY thet Ana Barbosu NEVER touched the mat. Her heel was SUSPENDED, in the air when performed in that corner. Olympics should introduce the VAR system as it is used in the soccer games.
