Hey my friends! It’s been over a year since I started getting requests to review the 75 Hard challenge that’s been going viral on TikTok. It’s supposedly a mental toughness programme even though I’m 100% picking up fitness transformation / weight loss vibes when I look through people's interpretation of it! I took on the challenge for 48 hours and added my thoughts at the end (: I hope you enjoy it!!

“You’re not a failure if you’re burnt out” if that doesn’t sum it up entirely. People see challenges like this and think fitness has to be some strict military style regimen and that ruins their enjoyment of it. Thank you for always calling out these programs for what they are and advocating for true fulfillment in wellness!
  • The fact that you’re willing to go through this crap just for us not to get fooled and stuck in these toxic fitness trends makes you the supreme Queen. 🙏🏻 thank you for all you do for this community. You keep us healthy, happy and sane ❤ 🔥 💕👸

I am OBSESSED with your editing style. great video Natacha!
  • Thank you for this video Natasha! I tried 75 hard after seeing all the TikToks, and I was intrigued by the idea of a “mental toughness challenge”, but I found that while doing it, it was really making me hate exercising which is unlike me. The final straw for me was in the 75 Hard App, if you don’t check off all the tasks from the previous day, a message pops up that says, “You haven’t checked in. That means either you did the work and forgot to check everything off or you let your inner bitch voice beat you. Which is it?” What a discouraging and rude message to share to people, some who may be just starting out on their health/fitness journey. Self-hate isn’t promoting “mental toughness”, it’s just toxic.

Because of you, Natacha, I stopped “dieting” and stopped trying to lose weight. I started cooking my meals at home instead of eating out and eating with a fork and knife so I could be more conscious of how much I was eating. I began stopping once I was satisfied whether I ate everything on my plate or not. I began working out to challenge and enjoy myself as well as to see what my body could accomplish. I became happier, more fulfilled, and feel like my mind has been freed from the “weight loss obsessed prison” I had been in for decades. I watched my body composition change so much and the scale still went down even though I didn’t stress about it. I did all of that leading up to my third pregnancy and am now 3 months postpartum. I’m so thankful I began practicing these principles before getting pregnant. My mind feels so healthy now and I know I can accomplish any physical goals I might set because they aren’t centered around weight loss but rather strength, agility, and body composition. Thank you for everything you do! You’ve helped me transform my life and I am so glad my daughter can learn these things so much earlier than I did!

As someone with hyperhydrosis as well, its amazing to see Natacha just dealing with it and not letting it get in her way. People don’t realise how much it affects self confidence. Natacha is a real role model.

My cousin did this the full 75 days. It really did her a lot of good but I'm pretty sure that her outside workouts were light walks, bike rides, etc.

Progress pics everyday is just obsessive body checking. ‘Clean’ eating without a single ‘treat’ is just orthorexic behaviour. 45mins exercise 2x a DAY is insane. I have a feeling the founder is not doing and has never done this. Thank you for always showing these challenges to be what they are and spreading reliable information

the amount of time, effort, and commitment you put into every single video is astonishing!! appreciate the heck out of you (and mario!!!)

As someone who's cycled through A LOT of viral (and toxic) fitness trends, THANKS SO MUCH for being the antithesis of quick fixes and unsustainable habits!
  • So refreshing to see an influencer actually using their platform to support people's mental and physical well-being. I love how you didn't romanticize the challenge at all and really show it for what it is! Overall, so refreshing and inspiring-thank you!!! ♥️

I love that you kept the 'annoyed' bits in there; anyone who follows you knows that 'annoyed Natacha' is not typical unless something is really wrong. Thank you for being real and for also bringing up the fact that these things always demonize certain foods which actually caused me to develop orthorexia when I was first trying to lose weight years ago. It's been over 10 years and I'm still triggered by scales (I cannot weigh myself or food) and calories (I cannot count them regularly); anything that reminds me that I am 'failing' at someone's ideal diet... it sucks. For watchers who are reading this: Natacha's Cut 2022 is VERY easy to get into and adjust for your own lifestyle and strengths/weaknesses. I have not used the meal prep, because of the above issues, but at week 6 I am feeling so much stronger, flexible, lighter on my feet, and my shoulders and calves are getting nice and toned. Thanks again, Natacha! If I could and got consent, I'd give you such a big hug for helping me through so much worry and anxiety over the years with your science-based approach. <3

“Raise it! Elevate it!” Lol love you guys’ ability to add humor to almost anything 😂😂

I am so glad I discovered your channel years ago, before I was exposed to any of the toxic diet and Fitness culture. You saved me from going through any of these ridiculous challenges and I can’t thank you enough! ❤️
  • @Laurensji
Mario is such a welcomed side character 😂 his commentary is brilliant lol Thanks for always weeding out the bullshit Natasha 💕

I did a workout for the first time in months tonight. My face looked a lot like Natacha's in that first workout. Even though the intensity of our workouts are different, seeing someone like her still wincing and pushing through the discomfort makes me feel so much better about my workout journey. It's never gonna feel like a walk in the park!

Your presence on this platform makes it such a refreshing corner of the internet, honestly. From someone who used to be a very young girl obsessed with toxic internet fitness trends, thank you so much.
  • The water jug in the shower killed me 🤣🤣 thank you for this, it really did put the ridiculousness of the challenge into perspective for me. And when you spoke about spacing out and that's how you knew you were under eating- whew girl, that was a realization for me too!!!

I cried watching this video because it took me back to such dark days when I did HIIT and weight training on a daily basis and restricted myself to dangerously low calories a day. I cried because of hunger and I'd get injuries I took a long time to heal from. When you were angry in the video on Day 2, I remember feeling that pent up anger everyday wondering when enough would be enough. Now I'm eating as I please and when I feel guilty over missing days because I'm exhausted or having a lot on my plate I turn to you. This video was like a hug to my past self. I am so happy for what I've learned even if it was the hard way. 💕
