Maybe it’s because the lions are smarter than human beings and realize there was somebody in distress and trouble and they protected it. Good boys and girls such good lions you are.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has plans for those two little babies, and our Lord Jesus put those amazing animals in their pasth and made sure that no harm would come to them and we thank God for the people who came to help them and we thank the animals that God sent to save them 🙏 ❤😊in Jesus name we pray Amen 🙏 ❤️ 💙 😊 💜

I heard the original account of this years ago and count as a miracle just like Daniel in the lions den. But they never should have included photos of a North American mountain lion in the story!

God has a history with lions. Remember Daniel in the lions den? God caused the lions, though very hungry, to close their mouths and not harm him. I'd guess God urged the lions to protect them.
