I met Mr Till, briefly, back stage at The almighty fighting championship in Liverpool. He was supporting his friend who was recovering from cancer. He snuck up behind me as I was photographing the fighters. He had a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

Till's been finished for years, i remember a leaked phone call between Whittaker and Till, weeks before they fought and Till phoned Whittaker up rotten drunk 8am in the morning and Whittaker was driving home from the gym...2 different mind sets....

Watched Till through his career and admired his perseverance, but had no idea about his background - going to Thailand and Brazil as a young man chasing a dream. Comes across as a solid and relatable guy too. Heās earned the right to cash in at this stage. Top interview - respect
