This was a huge number one hit in 1969 written by the iconic duo of Bacharach and David, and was featured in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. It was actually a part of the soundtrack for Spiderman 2 not 3, where its popularity was revived and it fit perfectly in both movies. Great choice for a rainy or even a suny day! šÆ

This song and "Joy to the World" are two of the first songs I remember as a child. My mom would put the record player on the porch and we would dance. I was like 4 or 5 ('78/'79) and she died when I was 6. So this song brings lovely memories! I'm crying, lol. Thanks for uploading!

This was my favorite song when I was a little kid ( along with Vehicle by the Ides of March ). Came out in 1969 when I was 3. I clearly remember my kindergarten teacher playing it for us a couple years later. Became one of my favorite memories from that timeā¦. I donāt hear this song very often, but when I do, itās always during a time of major worry or stress. It seems to happen in a public places. And every time I feel my motherās presence. She passed in 1994 from ovarian cancer, aged 58

This was a song my grandparents introduced me to. It became a favorite. Even have it on a music box. It definitely makes you feel good.
