Thank you so much for this video! My childhood friend passed away the other day at only 19, and I found an old fedora of hers that she left at my house years ago, and it’s dirty and the band’s all grubby. Now I can replace the band on it and really honor her.

Man, I was just in a hat store that charges £500 for a bespoke fedora. Really cool looking hats some of them but I don't have that money. So then I come on here & find this video! Thank you brother 🤠

I love the denim for the hat band. I have a hand painted boho raffia hat that I could not figure out what to finish it with - I am going to put the denim over a hand painted silk band and secure with a bright sparkly vintage brooch😁THANK YOU for the inspiration!!

A very cool job and a great hat, the leather shark's fin shape makes it really stand out. I found this video by looking for 'how to sew a velvet ribbon on a fedora hat', but putting a denim band on a hat is a very stylish thing to do. Thank you.
