  • Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know how much of an impact you've had on my life. I didn't know what I wanted to do as a career and you have shown me the basics of being a mechanic so I'm going to college in the fall to learn more :)
  • That paint job gave that Honda at least 100hp. And that Chris fix logo is a extra 200hp alone.
  • Hey Chris….here’s a neat trick for the letters that takes WAY less time than cutting tape. Get a small and cheap hobby paint brush and brush a light coat of Vaseline over the letters. Paint the valve cover like usual. When the paint is dry, brush over the letters with a lint free cloth and the paint will come right off perfectly every time.
  • I started watching your vids when i was 14 and now im 22, in automotive tech in college, and STILL watching your videos while doing hw. I also used your restore headlight method and would love to show you the results somehow! Thanks so much man!
  • for the first time in my life watching "youtube How-to-videos" in a straight complete instruction with a super strong confident voice without any useless information. COMPLETE, STRAIGHT FORWARD, FINISH!! Awesome!

  • one thing to remember, always and i mean always, if you are removing parts from your motor that expose any internals in any way, cover it with a towel or something like that, i found out the hard way

Chris Fix I hope you see this man. I started out with my junky 95 Toyota Celica and I didn’t hardly know what i was doing because i was new to the car world, it’s my first car and I’ve been wanting to do stuff with it but not a lot of money or supplies to do it with. Because of you bro I learned easy and inexpensive ways to fix my car by watching you. You make things so simple, you’re easy to understand and you include products that aren’t too complicated. Just wanted to say that, much love bro and keep up the good videos, can’t wait to see else you have in store for the Del Sol and the Driftstang.

Amazing tutorial to start with, both visual and verbal so I appreciate that. I absolutely love the colors and attention to detail bits and pieces. Also I adore that excitement after the results revealed lol. It kept me watching. I'll be painting some of my DIY projects. Even though I went to spray painting course I wanted to watch a close up tutorial to refresh my memory. I'll make sure to follow these instructions. Thumbs up. Thank you for this informal tutorial Chris. :)
  • @71sd39
just did this with my 99 CRV with a metallic red. great results, the guide definitely helped me out. i'm the guy who snapped the valve cover stud putting it back together. massively overestimated how much those would take lol, pretty sure the torque spec for those doesnt even go into foot pounds, its like inch pounds
  • I’m a 25 year old Australian female in the automotive parts industry with no automotive experience. I discovered your channel by coming across your very first trim painting video on your truck! I watched the entirety of that video! It was extremely helpful, your voice was clear and your words made sense! But then I had a look at your channel, and discovered THIS video! I was actually so shocked! 🤯 I thought your old video was good! But i wasn’t ready to see an even better tutorial with more confidence in your voice, better production and even more super handy tips that you clearly added based off what you learnt from your original paint job in that original video! Congratulations on how far you have come with your channel! Subscribed ✨
