This lady was a carer before innkeeper so it reflects the standards she was used to in her previous profession. I can just imaging the filth in which her charges were left.

One star for The Crown is one too many. Boggles the mind that the inspectors let them keep two stars.

Swapping the cleaner that can't clean properly to cooking I lost my appetite and the owner who is oblivious of the filth turn cleaner ,I think Karen is never going to change

I suspect the owner wanted a complete revamp at Alex's expense without too much effort

I'm sorry, but I always laughed so hard at the fact that Karen always blamed Sally for problems in HER Hotel.

I just LOVE it when they say the place is clean, and the camera gives us shots of dirt and grime and cobwebs 😂😂‼️

Karen was still slating Alex/customers/neighbours online seven years after filming, so no lessons were learned. The Crown was sold to a developer who completely restored it into very nice looking flats.

If that filthy sloppily-run place only lost one star, it destroys all faith in the star system.
