I can't even really explain how much immediate relief and safety I felt just by seeing your title and knowing that we have a community and I can do it. Thank you!!

Totally agree on how safe Dubai and Thailand are. Walking around at night, I never had a worry. Other places you've mentioned are definitely on my list.

I love your video. Thanks for the destinations. Greece, Spain & Portugal are also safe to travel for a black solo traveler.

I’m currently travelling solo in the Seychelles 🇸🇨 😊

Lovedddd this! I went to Cape Verde for my first solo trip. Although there isn’t much to do I’d definitely recommend. It’s more of an unwind, relaxing type of holiday xx

Thailand is definitely friendly for a black solo female traveller. I’ve never ever had a problem. The UAE concerns me because of their treatment of Africans in domestic work. They are treated violently and nothing more than animals. I’d do some research before travelling their. Bali is definitely one to go too. I never experienced racism there.Never been to Iceland. Will try to visit. I’d love to visit Ghana and Tanzania.
  • Me Black 60plus backpacker , been to Iceland, remember the weather can be wet and windy even in the summer, Blue Lagoon is overpriced only booking online and can’t be reached without taxi.., oh yeah.., mostly couples, not recommended for solo travellers. There are loads of good sports centres in Reykjavik, cheap with pools and hot tubs etc. Morocco... ladies beware sexist as hell and I would caution you about going. If you do, don’t wander about alone too much. Best to go with a partner France, been there dozens of times... Paris obviously, but cheap flights to Nice and Bordeaux are. good. Those channel resorts Caen or St Mali are fun. Enjoy, stay safe and travel, remember you have limited time on Earth.

Ghana 🇬🇭 very safe, friendly, peaceful, fun, amazing. People love Ghana. One can live in Ghana comfortably. You always feel welcome
  • Thank you for this video, you’re beautiful! I also want to add for anyone else, I’ve been to Malta solo and had a wonderful time I felt very safe!
  • I'm not sure if women have trouble traveling alone, but as a black traveller (Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Wales, and Scotland) I've had zero problems it's not even something that cross my mind. To be fair I have heard about how the migrants are treated in Italy.

thanks for sharing, I`m a solo black female traveler so I`m always looking for new destinations to visit. As a black woman traveling alone things can sometimes be tricky. I agree with you, Tanzania is brilliant, the people are so friendly and respectful and their beaches are brilliant. I really value your inputs, I subscribed to follow your journey.

Yes! We love Colombia. Currently here and visiting different cities to see where we want to be long term. Although I’m not alone. I feel pretty safe whenever I venture out on my own. ( which I often do 😊)

I intend to visit Thailand solo this November! The Covid apocalypse has made me want to travel to places I previously thought of as a no-go place.
  • Thailand, Ghana and Abu Dhabi are all on my travel list. Thanks for this video, it’s really informative 👏🏽👏🏽

Great video and tips. I'm planning my 1st solo trip as soon as the borders open to Seattle US, watched many solo trip vlogs by females going to Seattle and it looks great, easy to get around, friendly people and safe. I live in Asia and would agree on Thailand being a nice country to visit, would also recommend Japan where I live, it's extremely safe, people are very friendly. You may get some looks only because you're foreign not necessarily because you're black but people mind there own business. I wouldn't personally travel to Paris solo, I've been a few times with my french husband and he even watches his back and doesn't always feel safe, especially at night in some areas, people be out to try rob you which has happened to a few of our friends. Neither would I travel to Morocco solo but in saying all that, it has nothing to do with being black just be mindful and aware wherever you go.

Croatia’s great too. I went to Split & Dubrovnik loved Split especially and people were lovely. We ventured out and even in non tourist areas we were warmly welcomed as black females by all kinds of locals.
