School is in session. If you are into guitars and especially Gibson then you will not want to miss this episode. We had two Gibson Electric Guitars come into the shop today. One was a fake and the other was genuine. Can you spot the fake? We go in depth on why the guitar was fake and give step by step reasons on why we could not take in the item. In the end, we exposed why the guitar was 100% fake. Were we being scammed or not. Let us know in the comments. As for the second Gibson, without a doubt it was genuine and authentic.     The guy selling the fake guitar wasn't mad when he heard it was fake. In reality, someone would blow a gasket hearing that.

    Yeah that gold finish is phony af. Send him packing. No need to spend an hour convincing him of anything, he probably already knew. Just tell him you don't want it because you "can't be sure".

    He Wasn’t surprised when he was told it was fake… The reason being, he already knew. I’m not a guitar expert, but you could just tell by his action that he was trying to pull a fast one.

    This is why I always do my research and only buy through reputable sources. I'm a Fender man and not as familiar with details on Gibson guitars, but I always try to be as thorough as possible. Nice video! Glad I came across your channel! 🎸
