the boo to a goose fandom is dying, repost this if you’re a true gooser
  • @Katielovegood44
I say this after every season but i am blown away how steve and reece sell the chemistry between characters! In a short 30minute show they convice us so well with relations and bonds between actors its just so impressive! They make it look so easy!!

Great Video! Now for a very personal top 9 from me based on quality and rewatch value 9. The Devil of Christmas 8. How Do You Plead? 7. Boo To A Goose 6. Death Be Not Proud 5. Cold Comfort 4. Mr King 3. Sardines 2. The Referee's a W***er 1. The Bill

“But it’s only pissed up Reece in a Halloween mask so we’re alright” 😂😂 Also thanks for a WONDERFUL video as always - at least even though the series may be coming to an end the fandom will remain alive and strong. 💪 Aaaaaand I very much appreciated the Bentley/Popcorn idea, dark as it was! ❤
  • Series 9 really was the perfect way to end this show and I’m so glad that this season was a banger. My favourite episode was probably Plodding On. Another brilliant video WeeLin 😊
  • I whole-heartedly agree with your top pick, honestly I'm debating whether it's my favorite episode of all time, a beautiful, frightening and tense story, and it's the most I ever cared about an inside number 9 character (and there's A LOT of amazing competition). Right now I'm putting it joint first with Bernie Clifton's dressing room and (sorry Reece) 12 Days of Christine.

Ctrl/alt/esc is my second faviurite. I was literally calling out loud for steve to wake up and so wanted a happy ending!! But mulberry close is just superb to me! It seemed the perfect episode, shows their humour, has the fun filming hurdle, the slight jump scare with drunk reece and the twist was good. It was honestly my favourite all time i think!!! Plus mr jolly!!
  • @BlueOnna
I think it's so hard to rank Plodding On, it was an absolutely perfect ending to the show and a well deserved victory lap but you can't really compare it properly to any other episode. At least it's given us a definitive answer to the question "what is the worst episode to watch first if you are just starting Inside No 9?" lol
  • @stevencowie7151
They really went fo it this time imho. Some dark shit on show. Kudos, as always, and I look forward to your revisiting the earlier ones.

Favourite guest actor for season 9 for me was Hayley Squires as Devonshire in Curse Of The 9th. She was absolutely hilarious!! Agree with you, this episode for sure had the best soundtrack too. I agree with a lot of your awards, but my Episode Ranking is quite different.. 6. Plodding On ... 5. Boo To A Goose ... 4. The Trolley problem ... 3. Mulberry Close ... 2. Ctrl,Alt,Esc ... 1. Curse Of The 9th!

Angry Reese IS best Reece! Lol! I should know as I was regarded as the 'Reece' in my group in college. Oh I've been putting off watching this video as NOW it really feels like the end. Its been wonderful being part of a little group who mutually appreciate the demented. Great puns btw Weelin. I was laughing all the way...probably too much at that 'Upstairs Downstairs' gag.

I miss your weekly reviews! I miss my favorite show even more but I'm so glad they ended on a huge high 💔
  • @spitfire5180
i associate the background music in your videos almost as strongly with inside no 9 as I do with the main theme of the show
  • @gavvo-7640
I went to see Late Night With The Devil at the cinema - absolutely LOVED it! Would be good to hear a full on review from you 👍Also, Ghost Stories movie was brilliant, especially the Paul Whitehouse segment!!! So creepy!!!

Just for the topic of the future of your channel and that : Any other type of high quality British/UK show you would recommend, I would watch on your part. You convinced me to watch Psychoville and i loveddddd it. Same with deadline So I Definitely would be interested in most anything you would recommend. Also, looking forward to all of the other types of videos you mentioned at the end of your "Plodding on" review (finally got to watch it, wonderful!) Going to miss the show but glad to have your channel here and I did appreciate the kind words you put into the plodding on review as well.
  • @mankytoes
Mulberry Close is number one for me. Most genuinely inventive, spot on hilarious observational comedy and a brilliant ending.
  • @haitchbee3320
I have very much enjoyed watching your Inside No9 videos, and was thrilled between series when you did the extra videos on League, Ghostwatch and Darkplace. Whatever you decide to talk about in future videos I’ll be watching! I watched Bodkin too, right up my street and off the back of that was recommended a series also on Netflix called Obituary staring the same Irish actress so I pass this recommendation on to you. Perhaps something to review for a future video 😉. Keep doing what you enjoy because the best videos to watch/listen to are when someone talks on something they are passionate about.
  • I completely agree with you on your series rankings Lin. Ctrl/Alt/Esc is a masterpiece. I did have a different spun on the ending the first time I watched it i.e. I thought Jason had died at the end. I have since rewatched it and realise I was wrong and agree that it was indeed an upbeat ending. Being a fan of all of Steve and Reece's writing projects I am looking forward to what comes next. I know it will be dark, twisted and wonderful. I am also looking forward to what comes next on your channel. I love your take on the series. Cheers.
