Unreal Engine 5 - Multiplayer Survival Game Course Trailer

Purchased this course over the weekend and I'm on lesson 16 right now :) . When you are learning something you like, it's not boring at all and I eagerly turn on the computer first thing in the morning to continue with this course. Once I'm a bit further maybe I'll start showing some progress videos. Really liking it so far!

This course looks exactly like what I want to get started on this hobby. Most other courses and tutorials i see practically create a pretty environment, which is the most uninteresting part of game development IMO (im not that into art, I know I won't be creating grand masterpieces and don't intend to). I already know how to code and find joy in the mechanics of gameplay loops, ai, etc. The fact that it is bundled up into one whole package is a no brainer for me.

I just purchased the course and I'm eager to get started once my new PC arrives. I look forward to learning more as you continue to update the content!

You have the absolute best tutorials for beginners. I’m switching from unity to unreal and gotta learn everything again LOL

Just signed up this looks super comprehensive, so many courses start and don’t finish or get out of date as unreal engine releases patches, just on the face of things it looks like it covers a lot. Hopefully will start working through it this week.

To me as a completely beginner game dev, this course is quite beginner friendly he explain everything from 1 to 10. anyone watching should purchase it in this early access period, it's worth for sure. I work as an animator/editor and I think i'm gonna take the course! It's just all so interesting and fun, being able to play what you create.

Seriously considering purchasing, seems like a fantastic tutorial. Just a few questions though if you don't mind. How often do you update the course? I see it's not complete yet, which is fine just curious as to how frequent the updates. Amd second, does the multi-player have to be server hosted? Or do you also teach drop in drop out worlds? As in a player has a world and people can join, it saves the joining players gear and stuff they built but the world is only accessible if the host player is playing too. Sorry if that made no sense. Thanks!
