Here’s a quick video to show the Lego Bricks to Jazz Harmony from John Elliott and Conrad Cork for the standard jazz tune Out of Nowhere. The main bricks in this tune are the On-Off, the Nowhere and the Rainy Cadence.

Think of Jazz Lego Bricks as four-bar contrafacts to memorize jazz tunes. Invented by Conrad Cork and further developed by John Elliott and others, jazz bricks are a cool concept that I'm hoping to help popularize and simplify for future generations. I'm still learning these, so let's learn them together!

hey alexa. it’s jeremy frim class. i had no idea you were such an amazing singer and youre already a great piano player, too! wow. i continue to be humbled by my fellow Chris peoples. I watched some of your other vids—my god your voice is amazing. 👏 lego jazz bricks concept is cool—never heard of it.
