As someone who’s only ever owned Nintendo consoles, getting a PS4 in 2024 for $85 was an amazing deal for me. Thousands of games I couldn’t play anywhere else.

Still rocking my PS4 that I bought back in 2017! So many games that I played and have yet to play before I upgrade to a PS5.

I was saving up for a used PS4 Slim but my cat got sick and used the money for his lab tests and medications. He died last month. I'm using a PSP emulator for now and will definitely get a PS4 someday. Not my priority right now. It's just awesome that it's still getting new games.

The PS4 has a killer library. I don’t blame folks for not upgrading. There’s a rumor swirling around about Sony making a new portable that could play PS4 games natively. Strange as it would be, I’d be down especially if it doesn’t require internet to play. Sick videos as always man and hope all is well!

My launch model is still alive and kicking, installed an external 512gb nvme , played 200hrs of Elden Ring and now I'm finishing the RE 4 remake on hardcore. Also started Witcher 3 yesterday and I play GT7 from time to time!

I got the PS5 like two years ago, and when I started playing it I was, “why did I upgrade? I didn’t have to,.. there was no need 🤦🏻♂️”

I’m very much a believer that similar to the PS2 and Vita that the PS4 will never die until Sony straight up shuts down the store and licensing stuff, it’s gonna be kept alive by third parties (SEGA and THQ as examples) and indies until Sony just makes them stop by cutting the cord.

I think the PS4 is gonna go down as arguably the greatest gaming console of all time. That era of video games was kinda perfect tbh. Great selection of games, amazing exclusives, and in regard to performance, it was able to run some very graphically demanding games, even by today’s standards. Video games at that time struck a great balance of introducing next-gen game mechanics and great visuals. It’d have been nice if Bloodborne ran at a higher fps lmao but yeah. Lots of great memories with the PS4

I have a PS4 and just bought the PSVR for it and it’s amazing how many games you can play on it. Indeed the PS4 still has life in it for a few more years.

I have nearly over 300 games on PS4 and still play my slim model i haven't upgraded to PS5 yet still as i still haven't see that game to make me the jump..... Been playing Nintendo switch mostly this gen 🌟

100% recommend ps4 in 2024 especially with an ssd no reason at all to upgrade graphics and speed don’t justify cost and lack of games

I knew the PS4 would still have its support!!!! Sure, the PlayStation 5 is a sexy beast and it's perfect for those that don't have a PS4 but the PS4 still has that potential and the best part is it can do cross-gen and connect with the PS5. My friends own a PS4 and I was mind blown that I can talk to them through the PS5 controller voice chat

Im 32 years old ... but until now i don't have any console in my life .. but now im working very hard to have ps4 this coming September and i will buy one for the first time... its my childhood dream until now... i hope ps4 will continue ....

Totally agreed with you man! Honestly PS4 still is a very worthwhile console to play on and I am happy for them keeping PS4 alive for this long. Its been more alive than PS2 and PS3's 11th year in the market too. Great video, subscribed! Sony should have never released the PS4 Pro as it is delivers almost the same graphics as the PS5. It also makes the console generation gap look smaller than it should be.
