The Dolly Mixtures have a part in my heart. I was born deaf and had surgery when I was 6. My special needs teacher gave just 1 sweet a time when I’d achieved something. By the time I did my GCSE exams at 16 years old I passed all my exams and didn’t get dropped a single year. Always remember those little sweets.

When I was a kid, the local corner shop (as did most others, I assume) would sell a "10 pence mix" to kids. It was a little white paper bag and had a mixture of 1p sweets/candy. Shrimps and Bananas where always in it, along with a chocolate log which was a small stick of caramel toffe covered in chocolate, a refresher which was a yellow toffee with sherbert in the middle, oh I nearly forgot, white chocolate mice. To name a few.

I like the fact they only think you can buy Harry Potter stuff at the studio I can walk into B&M, Boots, Claires accessories, tesco, ASDA and M&S and find Harry Potter stuff that stuff is everywhere
