  • I am at a point in my life when I have more years behind me than in front of me… never expected to get here.. always thought that I would die young. Served in the military and did law enforcement focused on counter terrorism so this song has special meaning to me… bring tears to my eyes.. salute to comrades that died young
  • The most beautiful and touching death in movie history. Slim Pickens wife watching her man die is a masterpiece.
  • when Slim Pickens dies slowly in the stream one of the saddest scenes in movie history.
  • I was digging through vinyl at a whatever shop in my little small town a few months ago and found the original soundtrack for 3 bucks. I love Dylan, and this was his pet. It's a great listen. I got stoned out of my mind and listened to it. Then followed it up with the greatest hits double album. I really don't give a shit how old that makes me look.

Man that movie was loaded with great actors. I saw it the year it came out. Didn't realize back then just how iconic it was.

У Америки куча недостатков, геополитическх авантюра и прочего, но есть то что влюбляет с неё, её свобода, эти бескрайние просторы, простые и сильные люди, и песни в которых её душа и лучшие черты❤

I live in "Big Sky Country". North of the 49th parallel; and love horses and Western Movies and TV Shows. Growing up in the 1970's, I always enjoyed Slim Pickens in every role he played. Johnny Carson also liked him as well and had him on as a guest on the Tonight Show multiple times where Slim would perform Rodeo tricks and stunts. Slim was a real life Cowboy and Rodeo performer. I always wanted to go on a long Cattle Drive or perhaps a "Trail Ride" with Slim in the Back Country, untouched by Modern Man. I am sure it would have been a hoot. The things you feel like you've missed out on when you reach 60 years of age.

This footage is so incredibly real....that it truly makes our perceptions of what is happening in October 2023.....utterly surreal...and exposes the narritive of what we are experiencing today for the lies and deceit that it truly is.
