When I was a missionary in Germany, we lived in a part of Cologne where there were many Turkish people. Every morning, the women gathered around a propane fueled flat iron and cooked this amazing bread. Despite our language differences, they would motion us over and gift us a hot round right off the iron! As we went about our day, we'd pick up a chocolate bar or a couple of bottles of lemon water or flowers and drop them by in return! Some of my best memories! Thanks for the recipe!

Let's try this again, I loved this presentation, makes me look forward to getting my own cookware in my new kitchen. I live in a retirement community in N Michigan. I have been ill , and the loss of my husband 10 yrs ago took me into bad decisions but on a better route now and much happier. Thank you for the recipe I can hardly wait to get some flour ;) I was raised by a self-taught gourmet chef who finally got into the restaurant business, she and my dad owned two restaurants thank God not at the same time. Thank you again, Holly M
