As an American, I have been watching this entire series for over a year now because it is not standard construction. I think the way the chateau was built and being rebuilt is just so interesting.

As I have watched this over time I think about the original builders who didn’t have power tools, nail guns, laser beams, tractors, electric lifts,etc. Yet they built for the ages and their creation is still standing after being gutted by fire and time accepting, so far, a complete rebuild. A rebuild that is based on what the ancestors did without modern technology.
