Why would you give this guy a platform?
-
“Certain fans really don’t like me” how about ALL of them. What a loser.
-
It always bugs me when guys like this tell their stories like a wise-guy. No shame. They still want you to see how clever they were, not how depraved they were.
-
A thief and a rat. SMH. What a slimeball. Hope the Feds give him 100 years on his upcoming case.
-
The guy is an POS. No remorse, no accountability and continued to blame it on "the lifestyle." The dude gets caught and becomes more of a rat by looking after himself and his time behind bars. What he did can not be undone. Millions of dollars worth of priceless items and he has the audacity to interview like it was a game for him. The line where he says I'm not the hero, Yogi is shows how warped and narcissistic this guy is. Wtf, did he think he had to clarify that to? Himself? 4 years?! Pathetic. Our justice system with another L.
-
What a scumbag. Why is he not in jail?
-
He is a criminal still. I can tell by his behavior. He has no remorse for what he did. He should be locked up for life.
-
Melted down Yogi Berra’s ring- gets 4 years… unreal. 🤷🏻♂️
-
How does this guy sleep at night
-
Shame on you :60 minutes for allowing this person to have your platform.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if he's lying about having melted them. He's a crook, he probably lied about melting them so no one would look for them.
-
Sorry...this guy is simply horrible... I officially reject any claim of this man being a Yankees fan...wow
-
He could’ve broken into a jewelry store and stolen some gold there to meltdown. But he wanted to destroy someone else’s greatness because he feels that, he himself has no greatness. That’s why he stole the trophies of the champions. Because deep down inside, he thinks he’s garbage and that’s his way to get back at his own cursed fate. This guy and that witch that got Selena are a special kind foul.

People like this should not be allowed to walk free, if at all.
-
This guy should be in jail for a very long time. What a disgraceful human being.
-
He still has the rings.
-
So, he such a fan, he steals priceless artifacts and destroys them. Sounds like a deep seated hate, to me, cloaked in admiration.
-
He gets popped, rats his WHOLE CREW for every job, and walks the street, hell hes on TV. wow.
-
Key point…he was the ring leader…he was the one that started all of this and then got his friends to join him….when HE was caught HE ratted on his friends to make a deal and get a reduced sentence. His friends probably would have never done these kinds of crimes on their own….he was the one bad apple that spoiled the whole bunch…and then he turned them over for less punishment for himself. Yes…the friends are criminals too…but he created this and then received less punishment just because he turned them in….that’s not right. He was stealing before he even met them….this was his creation and he would have done it even if they never went along with it because he was the mastermind. I’m so sick of hearing that these criminals can make deals for lesser sentences…they don’t deserve a lesser sentence.

Two observations: 1) What was the point of this report? 2) Is it me or is the reporter working really hard not to look openly judgemental and disliking when talking to the guy?
