Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.

"We gotta hold victims accountable" - Longbeachgriffy

this is very realistic, people love to protect stupid choices from grown ups to little kids, like stop and take accountability for your actions, everyone just wants to be a victim
-
“7th time . , . . I’m at least expecting you to duck!” 😂

When someone "victim blames" just tell them the definition of insanity.

He really said “I’m starting over” I’m dead man😂😂

Although I agree accountability is important, some situations require a sensitivity to the problem at hand. I will always remember this quote from a show, where one character said “I don’t understand why she doesn’t just leave him” and the other woman replied with “Because that’s when they’re most likely to kill you” and that hit me deep. Some situations, people simply feel powerless and trapped. I think we gotta do better about giving support to these people any way we can

I've noticed a lot of victim blaming is about pride. People just don't want to take any responsibility for their own actions. They will go to such great lengths to avoid it, it's ridiculous
-
I love the 1 3 7 example. Some people just can't see the error in their actions and learn from them.

The situation he presented about the child burning his hand on the stove is a time where victim blaming is allowed. It's funny. I don't care what you say. No matter who you are, you have laughed at a kid injuring himself before. It's a learning experience for the kid and it gets a good laugh out of everyone. Edit: that happened to me when I was 14. I'm 15 now.

This is how parents used to teach kids unironically. They would tell you not to do something. They would explain why you shouldn't do something. If you do it anyways, they would yell at you and call you stupid for not listening. Yes, they'd tend to the injury but pain, shame and regret are powerful teachers that teach kids and people to STOP DOING IT! If you're stupid enough to walk into a rake, then again, and again, and again, then blame your neighbor and beg for sympathy.... you deserve your outcome.
