I’m going to start calling this the Leonardo or Ben Schwartz effect. Because it’s so funny how Ben and Nicolas have voiced multiple blue-themed characters, including Leo.

It's crazy that Gumball JPN VA voice Naruto a ninja that became Hokage,Jacob Hopkins (2nd voice of Gumball) Voice a ninja character in Boruto,and now Nicolas Cantu (3rd Voice of Gumball) voice Leonardo a Ninja Turtles. Gumball sure has a thing of Ninja. P.S I also realized Nicolas Cantu and Ben Schwartz voice a blue character before land a role of Leonardo. (Nicolas for Gumball,while Ben Schwartz voice Skidmark in Turbo, Dewey in Ducktales reboot and later Sonic The Hedgehog in Sonic Movie)

I like the direction it seems Leo’s character is taking for this movie. I wouldn’t say Leo never had a personality before but it has definitely been a lot harder to categorize when compared to the other turtles, which is why I’m kinda glad they decided to make him completely stressed out and anxious all the time here. He has always worried about being the leader and protecting his brothers and it seems like they just turned up the dial on that part of his personality.
