“I’ve got a little itch down there, would you mind?” James Bond is tortured by Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) in CASINO ROYALE following the Aston Martin barrel roll and kidnap of Vesper (Eva Green). The wooden chair Daniel Craig is sitting on was actually fitted with a fibreglass screen underneath to prevent any unwanted injuries to the 007 actor. Directed by Martin Campbell.

Rewatching Casino Royale as a 30 year old made me understand Le Chiffre's desperation to get out of debt.
  • The fact that James was still able to have a kid after what happened to him in this scene proves that he has balls of steel.
  • I love how Daniel Craig keeps Bond's personality while being torture, when mocking Le Chiffre, but at the same time screams in agony as a real person would

This scene wasn't just a torture of Bond...but of all men worldwide who watched this scene.
  • I love that Bond is clearly TERRIFIED in this scene, but managing to hold it together.
  • Mads Mikkelsen is probably the best of the Craig Bond villains. Just the right amount of menace and never allows the character to become to over the top and cartoonish.
  • This truly was one of the darkest moments in the Bond series. But glad to see Bond kept his humor right up until he thought it was the end.

One of the darkest and funniest scenes in a Bond Movie. At the same Time.

"I've got a little itch down there, would you mind?" That gotta be one of the best lines in Bond history...

3:21 Incredible how Bond suddenly goes from crying in pain to crying with laughter. Fantastic acting from Daniel Craig!

3:28 I remember seeing this in theaters, I must have been 12, and I will always remember how the audience gasped and laughed in shock at Bond's sheer audacity with this emasculation. What an astounding takedown. And he's the one being tortured.

The fact that he was able to procreate with Madeline after this is incredible. Balls of steel.

My stomach hurt during this scene. Not for being disgusted, but knowing that pain goes straight to your stomach and feels like someone’s twisting your organs extremely tight.

Not only is Mads Mikkelsen a Bond villain, but he's also part of the MCU, the Star Wars saga, and the Harry Potter series. Talk about a charmed life!

Mads is doing his best not to laugh 😂
