I think even that little flash of impatience on Biden’s part in the first 2020 debate when he asked, “Will you shut up, man?” probably helped him more than it hurt, because by that point he was speaking for a solid majority of the audience.

I cannot believe that this country is in a place where the main concerns of the first presidential debate are criminal convictions and indictments, and whether either candidate can finish a sentence or know where they are at any given time. FFS.
